Laudato Si

The publication of Laudato Si’ in 2015 marked an important moment in the life of the Church. In this encyclical Pope Francis addressed the issue of climate justice and care for Our Common Home.

This letter was addressed to Catholics and people of good will of all nations. It was to ask them to change their perception of the world, to embrace a ‘new way of thinking about human beings, life, society and our relationship with nature.’

It proposes practical and political solutions to the foremost problems facing our world today and challenges not only political leaders but each and every one of us.

You can view the film made showing the events leading up to and following on from the talks held by Pope Francis at the time. Please follow this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rps9bs85BII
