SVP Youth Group

St Anne Line Parish Youth is a Catholic Youth Group open to all young people of secondary school age (11-18 years) The group is part of the national Youth SVP network.

The group aims to help the young people of the Parish discover more about their faith and put this into action in both the Parish and the local community while still having lots of fun with their peers.

The group meet once a month, typically on the first Saturday of each month from 4.45pm to 6.25pm. The group can then attend the 6.30pm mass together, when they can.

Sessions will take place on the Parish grounds unless specifically notified otherwise. These are led by Parish catechists and other adults known to the Parish with the relevant skills and training. These sessions will include youth led discussions on faith related topics, prayer and preparation for liturgical celebrations such as Advent, Lent and special feast days. Each session will also include games, themed activities and social evenings.

There will be opportunities to volunteer to support Parish initiatives as well as work in the community such as at the Local Food Bank or other community led projects.
