This week marks the third week of Lent, a time in which our prayers feel especially urgent. With so many conflicts unfolding across our world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or powerless. Yet Lent reminds us that Christians are called not to despair, but to stand firm in hope, to pray for peace, and to act with compassion wherever we can.

The words of the Holy Father from December ring true today and so we share them with you today, and ask you this weekend to keep those in the Middle East and throughout the world who are up caught in middle of conflict in your prayers.
